We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and dedicated Accountant to join our finance department and help in managing the financial success of the business.  You should have a firm understanding of accounting & financial principles, practices and regulations as well as possessing strong computer, verbal and written communication skills.

To succeed in this role you will have to be confident working with large amounts of data, comfortable when working to tight deadlines and happy to report and present your work to senior management.  At all times tou must be able to exemplify a professional and detail-oriented approach to your work. Ultimately, you will be providing the business with accurate information on our financial position and cash flows as well as ensuring we’re compliant on tax and other accounting regulations.

Responsibilities

• Compile, analyze, and report on company accounts and financial data.

• Prepare budget forecasts and prepare financial reports and statements

• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

• Performing audits and solve for discrepancies

• Calculate and prepare tax returns

• Complying with all financial regulations

• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

• Report on and present the company’s financial health to senior managers

• Comply with financial policies and regulations

• Present accurate data to assist management in the decision-making process

Requirements

• Previous work experience as an accountant

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar

• Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus

• Excellent understanding of accounting principles, regulations and procedures

• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills

• Ethical behavior and a strong attention to detail

• Hands-on experience with accounting software as well as advanced  MS Excel skills
